Mookie Betts delivered the go-ahead single in the 10th inning Wednesday as the Los Angeles Dodgers defeated the Colorado Rockies 6-4 in Denver. Betts finished with three hits including a home run, while Kiké Hernández also went deep for Los Angeles, which swept the three-game series. Mickey Moniak hit a two-run homer for the Rockies but it wasn't enough.

The Dodgers built a 4-0 advantage early against Rockies starter Kyle Freeland. Hernández drove in a run with a single in the second inning, then launched a two-run shot in the fourth after Betts homered to lead off the frame. Freeland departed after two outs in the fourth with neck tightness, having allowed four runs on six hits.

Teoscar Hernández started the 10th with a single and advanced on Freddie Freeman's sacrifice fly. Betts then singled up the middle to give Los Angeles the lead. Kyle Hurt earned the win while Tanner Scott recorded his 18th save. The Dodgers open a series at Pittsburgh on Friday with right-hander Yoshinobu Yamamoto (12-7) on the mound.
