Natasha Cloud of the Chicago Sky engaged in a confrontation with former NBA player Enes Kanter Freedom during Sunday's game at Wintrust Arena. Kanter Freedom approached the court and began verbally exchanging words with Cloud before security escorted him from his seat and ultimately removed him from the arena.
Following the game, Cloud met with Chicago Sky and WNBA security to discuss the incident. Sky head coach Tyler Marsh publicly backed his player, stating the team embraces Cloud for protecting her teammates and standing up for fellow players.
Cloud recorded a team-leading performance with 16 points, 4 rebounds and 7 assists in the contest. The Sky face the Connecticut Sun on Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. ET at Mohegan Sun Arena.
