The European T20 Premier League begins August 26, marking the arrival of a long-awaited franchise competition across European cricket. Six city-based franchises will compete in 32 matches across The Hague and Dublin through September 20. The tournament is backed by Cricket Ireland, Cricket Scotland and the Royal Dutch Cricket Association, with ICC sanction.

Rotterdam Dockers face Amsterdam Flames in the opening match at Voorburg Cricket Club on August 26. The first 17 matches take place in The Hague over 12 days, followed by remaining league fixtures and playoffs in Dublin. The Final is scheduled for September 20 at Malahide Cricket Club.

The six franchises feature prominent ownership from international cricket. Rotterdam Dockers are backed by Faf du Plessis, Jonty Rhodes, Heinrich Klaasen and John Abraham. Amsterdam Flames include Steve Waugh and Jamie Dwyer as owners, while Rahul Dravid leads the Dublin Guardians ownership group.
