Motorsport UK has launched registrations for the 2026 UK FF1600 Esports Cup, a feeder series designed to develop sim-racing talent. The competition's winner secures an automatic entry into the 2027 British F4 Esports Championship. Pre-qualification runs through a Time Attack event on iRacing from 9:00 AM BST August 24th to 11:59 PM BST August 30th, 2026.
Drivers aged 13 and above can compete on the Ray FF1600 at Snetterton 200 with no entry fee or Motorsport UK membership required. The top 25 fastest competitors advance to the main championship. Eligibility requires an iRating below 7,500 on a Formula Licence, no prior Pro iRacing licence, and no affiliation with teams competing in the British F4 Esports Championship.
Top finishers receive sim-racing equipment: the champion wins a Heusinkveld Ultimate+ Black 2-pedal set, second place receives a Heusinkveld One steering wheel, and third place gets a Heusinkveld Sprint 2-pedal set. Previous winners have launched successful esports careers, with 2023 champion Henry Moore claiming both the British F4 Esports Championship and iRacing FIA F4 Global Championship titles in 2025, while others have signed with professional teams including Red Bull.
