Skylar Wicks has ended his commitment to Gonzaga, reopening his recruitment through his agent Richie Felder. The Saint Francis transfer had joined the Bulldogs in June after receiving NCAA clearance for an extra year of eligibility from his 2024-25 time at UTSA. The 26-year-old wing would have faced significant competition for playing time under coach Mark Few.

Wicks' departure comes immediately after Gonzaga added Florida guard Xaivian Lee, who transferred to the program just hours before the decommitment announcement. This move leaves the Bulldogs with 14 of their 15 roster spots filled for the 2026-27 season. Several other roster additions remain pending NCAA approval for international eligibility waivers and transfer exceptions.
