Falcons have been knocked out of the Esports World Cup following a 0-2 loss to Legacy. The result came as a sharp turnaround for the team, which had performed consistently throughout Paris before the quarterfinal elimination. Nikola "NiKo" Kovač described the performance as a shock, noting the team looked entirely different from their previous three matches at the tournament.
NiKo struggled individually, posting a 0.76 rating across both maps. The rifler said he was unable to impose his usual style of play, lacking control of the tempo and losing crucial duels. He acknowledged a late attempt to regain momentum on Dust2's CT side came too late to salvage the match.
NiKo credited Legacy's strong individual play and tactical execution for the dominant victory. He suggested Falcons may have focused too heavily on countering their opponents rather than executing their own strengths, and indicated the team would review the match before drawing conclusions about what went wrong.
