Spirit defeated Vitality 2-0 to reach the Esports World Cup semi-finals, snapping a six-match losing streak dating back to October 2024. The opening two maps, Anubis and Nuke, remained competitive throughout. On Anubis, Danil "donk" Kryshkovets led Spirit's charge with a 10.55% round swing, while Andrey "tN1R" Tatarinovich sealed the map victory with a triple kill in the final regulation round. Nuke saw Vitality build a 7-1 lead before Spirit stormed back with four consecutive rounds, then fought from four map points down to force overtime before falling short.
Spirit dominated Mirage to secure the series. Donk delivered a standout performance, posting a 20-5 scoreline in the first half to establish a 9-3 lead. Vitality collapsed in the second half as Spirit clinched victory even in a 3v5 situation. The loss marks Vitality's third consecutive quarter-final elimination on LAN.
